M.C. Strauss Company is a leading private real estate investment firm headquartered in greater San Diego. Our actively-managed portfolio consists of 18 properties encompassing approximately 1.4 million square feet of specialty, neighborhood and regional mall shopping centers, as well as office buildings (including executive suites) and industrial properties. The portfolio is diversified in Southern California, Central California and Arizona.

Some of our tenants include Sears, JC Penney, Gottschalks, Rite-Aid, Circuit City, Petco, Ross Dress for Less, Marshallís, Smart & Final, Chiliís, Old Navy, Save Mart, Blockbuster Video, Outback Steakhouse, Sav-On, McDonalds, Starbucks, Bank of America, Aaron Brothers, Chuck E. Cheese, Vallarta Supermarkets and many others. Interacting with the brokerage community and through our own extensive industry contacts, we are continually seeking additional high-quality national, regional and local tenants to add to this roster.

Over the past five years, we have averaged net acquisitions in excess of 200,000 square feet per year. We look to continue to enhance our portfolio by the acquisition of anchored, well-located shopping centers and office buildings in major metropolitan areas in Southern California.

Our long-term strategy is to acquire and hold investment real estate and includes both geographic and property-type diversification. In addition, our in-house expertise in acquisitions, development, asset management and leasing affords us the ability to redevelop our properties as needed.
